Service Description

Peaceful and blessed... Monday through Thursday we focus on curriculum instruction and individualized learning. We place a lot of value on teachable moments throughout the day. Students learn responsibility by helping with daily chores; tending to chickens, maintaining the garden, taking care of classroom pets, preparing lunch, and cleaning up the learning environment. Students learn to cooperate with multiple age levels, while learning from one another. Fridays are overall wellness days geared toward a balanced life of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Chairs need four legs maintained equally to stand without wobbling. Fridays at Creekside are especially dedicated to shaping a firm foundation of those four pillars that we all need to stay balanced and unshaken in this world. Each Friday begins with a special time of worship and prayer. We typically participate in arts and crafts projects. Our goal is to take a field trip once a month.
